    crack in screen

I was cleaning my Helix 10 screen and noticed a small crack in the screen, I have no idea how it happened it doesent show any sign of an impact its just a very clean crack going from the top to the left side across the corner in the black border around the edge of the screen it is not in the actual "working" part of the screen.

Two questions, its already edge to edge so it can't spread but can moisture get in and do any more damage to the unit? Is this something I could send into Humminbird and have replaced at a reasonable cost?

Maybe put a screen protector over it to keep out the moisture? HB did have a fixed repair cost. It was $819.45 to fix a 15" solix a couple of years ago. I'm guessing $500 for a 10" Helix. Maybe HB will fix it for free if under warranty and no sign of impact.

If the unit has physical damage like a cracked or broken display, please call us for a quote. This would not be handled under the standard service charge.
