    596 slicer

Charger figured this out 3 decades ago.You can see how much V is in the nose to release that water pressure and not send it to your back.
The 596 has the tallest and longest V in the fleet .Charger 596 is a 75 mph boat with a 250 as stomp and few others have saw .

I have caught a ton of fish out of my dads old charger boat and been through some really rough stuff. Dont see many down in Texas anymore.

FyI Just saw a 2000 model 595 for sale on Texas fishing forum without a motor.

76mph TOC, with a light load and was alone, it's was winter, very light chop, perfect conditions. It was still climbing but I got scared to go any faster. I know it would have hit 78mph if I'd stayed in it.

Fastest I've had it with 2 people with a medium load has been 74mph. No speed demon here though, most of the time I putt around about 50-60mph.

FYI, I've decided to keep it, just can't find another boat with a hull I like as much as the 596. Plus the wife said whatever I buy better ride as good as the 596. I think she likes the boat more than I do.
