    RBT 1000 Islands Open

    Meanwhile, north of the border, the RBT 1000 Islands Open team tournament was won today with a 23 lb. bag - 4 fish limit.
    2018 Ranger RT188 SC Black/115 hp Yamaha SHO 4-stroke; Garmin LVS34 - north
    2018 Ranger RT188 DC Black/115 hp Merc Pro XS 4-stroke; Garmin LVS34 - south
    14' Mirrorcraft tin boat (ancient) with a 9.9 Mercury 4-stroke, no electronics; catches fish anyway

    That weight isn't really that much of a surprise but the Johnston brothers finishing 5th is.

    The Johnston’s had spent so much time on the U.S. side if the border they might have been short of time to pre-fish on the Canadian side. Waypoint TV will put out a nice on-line video of the this tournament that usually comes out after the holidays.
