    technical solutions

When BBC members take the time and interest to offer opinions/solutions to technical problems, I think many of us would really appreciate the "original poster" answering/telling us what the solution to his technical problem turned out to be, instead of just letting the thread hang there.... It may help us solve future problems without going through a new thread on the same topic over and over. On this Yamaha site as an example, Moderator YAM911 does a lot of work answering questions, offering parts diagrams, etc., but when I follow the threads i seldom see anyone saying "thankyou, that worked, problem solved" or confirming what worked....?

    100% agree.

I am on another forum and the same thing happens there all the time, a simple thank you would be nice.

I notice at times people post a question and then don't follow the responses. Kinda rude IMO

Agree 100%. Don't you love it when someone posts their first post with a question, and you never hear another word from them? No response, fixed it, thanks, Kiss my a$$ or anything!
