    Trailer step name cutouts

I just did cutouts for my ChampioN trailer and being the first time I have had these I have questions.

What thickness of plexiglass,/ lexan/ acrylic plastic do you typically use to diffuse the light from behind?

What kind of epoxy do you use to adhere the glass to the metal step?

Can anyone post a snapshot of how yours is done?

Thanks for any and all help guys

Not sure if it works on plexiglass but Ic-2000 is a great adhesive. You should be able to get plexiglass at most any hobby shops.

I ordered some replacement panels from my trailer manufacturer.

The trailer came with some flimsy coated metal clips which broke off causing me to lose the original white plastic pieces. Mine were approximately 14" long by 2 1/2" wide.

I used a combination of pop rivets and 3 M 4200 to secure the replacements. So far so good.

Kool. Thanks guys for the ideas. I saw that clip idea and not sure if that was going to work. Probably got with the 3 m. Just have to tape off the cutout name on the acrylic and then paint it on the untaped areas.
