    The Hunt for Monster Bass

It’s my favorite fishing show. Ott DeFoe just seems like a genuine guy.

    What’s your favorite fishing show?

Sometimes it is Honey Hole Outdoors, I say sometimes because the last several shows have been Bill and his son fishing in a local tourney trail. There's plenty of tournament shows to watch and one of the reasons I liked Bill's show was it was usually about him and a buddy going fishing.

I like Zona's show. It's a good combination of fish catching and humor all rolled in to one.

Favorite one I was able to find on regular TV when I was young was, the one Larry Nixon did. I liked it because it would even show the time. And even show back then he could go hours without hooking a bass, and he would even say that. Plus, he would be in detail about where he would use what bait, and so on.

I hate the Color filter or whatever it is on the hunt for monster bass. The black and white stuff they do? Or the distortion type stuff ? Man it’s hard on my eyes. But I like Ott and he ain’t afraid of filming on the most popular bass lakes/rivers and making good shows on em

I wish the original In-Fisherman show with Al & Ron Linder was available! Their show’s opening intro was something I waited for every Saturday morning as a kid growing up in Michigan! That show and looking through a Bass Pro Shops spring catalog Waiting for the ice to melt off the lakes!

I meet Ott many years ago at my church, where he and his fishing partner gave their testimony. He has been my fishing hero ever since.
