    bad fuse dropped voltage to 8.5 at bow

    i have never seen this before can someone explain this my voltage dropped from 12.5 at fuse panel to 8.5 at bow, i checked it at the terminal where this fuse was it checked 10.5 volts but the 10 ga coming from battery to to fuse panel checked 12.5. the fuse panel was under console after changing fuse came back to 12.5 at bow008.JPG

    On top of that style fuse are two bare spots where the concuctor comes through. You can put a meter lead on either of those to see if it has failed without removing it from the live circuit. It's kind of amazing that you had any voltage at the bow with that fuse. With a sensitive voltmeter it could have been wet internally and conducting, but I doubt it.
