    Easily 100+. I also wonder how it sits and how much backwash on a quick shutdown.

    I think the 450 weighs the same as the 250 so no issue there. I would like to know how fast it will go. I would think 115+.

    Yeah that would be my guess. Lots challenges over 100 MPH but that hull with that much horsepower and someone with a lot experience and big cojones is the correct recipe.

    The most amazing thing is that they managed to get their hands on a 450r in the current climate!

    I’m trying to buy a 45ft CC from a well known manufacturer who’s flagship runs Quad 450’s, I want triple 450’s and the only outboards they can get at the moment are 300’s! (Although the performance with quad 300’s doesn’t look too bad, in fact not too far off the quad 450 option)

    They wouldn't measure the air by height in feet, they would measure the distance traveled between times the hull touches the water....probably measured in nautical miles.

    Where does Allison stand on that behemoth on one of their boats?I know at one time they didn't reccomend anything over 200 on one of their boats.
