I am looking to rebuild my 1950v the floor has gotten crunchy in spots and the battery area has some rot. I'm concerned about the stringers and will be tearing into the boat to see what damage I can find ands want to rebuild it I love how the boat handles rough water and rides current setup has no jackplate and the transom seems pretty solid. I think this boat has alot of life left and can't see spending a ton of money on a newer boat for the fishing that I do. I am located in Rising Sun, MD and fish the upper bay, nanticoke, wicomico, Conowingo, and will be looking to fish the Potomac. If anyone has information on how these were constructed or how I can improve what I have I would appreciate any help. I plan to record my progress and post it on here
