thinking of moving some funds into gold. just starting to do some research. what are some of the options? fiscal gold or etf's

I buy gold mining companies that pay a dividend. There are a few good ones like NEM, GOLD, AU, AEM.

The one thing you can do with a gold etf is you can write covered calls on the to generate income. Buying gold miners is also another way to play it as many also pay a dividend. So I guess it sort of depends if you are looking to get some income from it while you hold it or just want to hold it thinking it will go up.
