    Mapping

After I map a lake and then if I return to the lake a months later and a water level has dropped 10 feet do I set my map offset by minus 10 foot do I have to - 10 ft off the recording offset as well to make the new recording even ?

Unless you have an ultra lake map chip for your lake the dynamic lake offset will not work.

You may have already looked at the QD setting descriptions, but they are below. Note that the recording offset adjusts the sonar depth reading, so it is opposite of what you say. If your lake has dropped 10 feet since your original QD mapping and now you are recording more mapping, then you would adjust the recording offset by +10 (adding 10 feet to the recorded sonar depth to match your previous recordings).
