Thumbs Up Laurel Lake First week of August

    Morning...
Ill be down on laurel the first week of august on a house boat. looking for any advise on august fishing. Haven't fished Kentucky lakes in the summer since my college days at Cave Run, I know my best chance is prolly only taking the boat out at first and last light but was wondering how the night fishing is like on Laurel and what areas to avoid, Houseboats outa Holly Bay so we will be docking up somewhere near there, How does Holly Bay feel about people fishing in there marina?

    Appreciate any help

    Thanks

First and last light and night fishing would be the best imo

that’s been the ticket , caught a few keeper LM on shakey head in about 25 FOW. Biggest was 3 lbs , plenty of 12inch spots on the deep bluffs on main lake , still after that keeper SM
