    Question 2005 ZX225 repowered with a 225 SHO

    I am looking for anyone that has repowered their 2005 ZX 225 with a Yamaha 225 SHO. I need to find out if the SHO increased your overall length on the trailer and if so, how much? I currently have the HPDI and need to know if the SHO will fit in my garage. Thanks!!

    Not sure if this helps but I fit my 2021 ZX225 in a 20'2" garage. Of course at an angle and engine level.

    It fits in my garage. Yeah!!! We did a lot of measuring but were unable to determine from that if it would fit. I removed a plywood reinforcement that I had installed on the back wall of my garage and that's all it took. I would estimate the SHO to be 1 to 2 inches longer overall on my trailer. This is with a swing tongue folded.
