998c question

Hi , I have a Humminbird 998c hd si combo and was wondering if there was a way to get rid of the data window on the left side or make it smaller? It takes up a good 1 inch of the screen. Thanks

The 800 and 900 series units got software to turn off the side bar in the SI view. That is the only view you can do that.
It is called SI Readouts and you get Depth and Temp as an overlay.

You can set each box with no readouts if you want.
