    Oiler delete.

I have a 1994 johnson fast strike 150 and I'm wanting to get rid of the oil injection system and just premix the fuel myself so I don't have to worry if my engine is getting oiled or not. Is all that I need to do to accomplish this is to cut the oil line from the oil tank and plug the end of it or is there more that I need to do. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Cap off the oil inlet so no air gets into the pump. Unplug the 4 wire harness for the pump and the 2 wire harness for the oil tank you can safely remove the oil tank assembly from the boat if you'd like.

Well let me ask ya this. I know that your awesome with the johnson and evinrude engines. My fear is that the oiler could quit working and burn the engine up. Are there any issues with the oiler on this engine or should I just leave it hooked up and use the oil tank? I'd like your opinion on it please.
