    Bumper crop of turkeys!

I’ve never seen hens with such large broods as this year! I have about a 5 acre field on my property that I’ve let grow for the past two years I think that didn’t hurt anything as for giving the wildlife a leg up![ATTACH=CONFIG]459662[/ATTACH

Once they introduced Bob cats in our area the turkey population really dropped.

Yea I’m not really going off the pic! earlier in the year I saw one hen with 11 poults. And the other day I saw a hen with 9 that was much smaller and younger then the ones in the pic.

All the spots around the state that my brother and buddies hunts are thin to none at all.. they claim that the wet or dry weather and the other competitors have been doing their in..

They hàd a good hatch and good survival in my area. The cicada hatch kept the poults well fed.
