Ranger boat trailer back up lights

Both back up lights on my trailer for my 2009 188vx have gone out and I can't find any places that carry them. They are 3 inch and most have 4 inch models. Does anyone know where to buy new ones?

If your dealer doesn’t have any, try Great Lakes Skipper or West Marine.

The Ranger OEM lights are backup "indicator" lights. They only illuminate directly behind the trailer which doesn't aide in visibility from the truck seat.

Thanks, I just hated to put new screw holes on there but yours looks so good, I'll look into them. They cover the hole real good.

Been on there since 2016. Fully water proof and lights up 2-3' on each side of the trailer.

Another option to consider: I have the same light fixtures as shown in Mike's pictures. I mounted mine on the last angle cross bar on the trailer. Works fine.

I added these from Amazon mounted on the brace for the bunks. Now I can see clearly to the sides and rear, plus when someone is backing my trailer down for me, I can tell when it MY trailer coming down the ramp !!!

Mine has 26 led, extremely bright. Around $18 for the pair. Had them for about a year and no problems. I never unhook my trailer connection so they are waterproof so far.

I just put a pair of LED Sylvania flush mount lights in mine last week. I did have to pull out the Dremel to cut rectangular holes where the 3" round ones were. They were 2 light LED units, had a nice pigtail off of them. Went in pretty easy. A lot brighter than the original round units. They weren't listed as waterproof, but water resistant to 3' deep for up to 30 minutes. They were $29.?? each. So far so good.

I ordered the 3 inch led's from eTrailer, looks like they'll fit pretty good, just ordered one to make sure first. Thanks guys for all the suggestions.

To add additional back up lights is it as simple as splicing into the existing backup light wires? I have a set similar to Mitch

Yep. Just use the original backup light wires.
