Lake can get busy, but I have found near the dam using a 7" worm, Texas rigged had done well. (June Bug color)

When you leave the ramp go right and about mid lake there is ass point that comes out from the left side. The channel runs not far off the end of that point. I always hit the bank down both sides of that point. And again the dam area can be good to you.

We got out quicker than expected, a nice calm day with hardly any traffic, rowers til no wake was over, and the kid and in-law both caught fish. Good day overall. Couldn’t do much at the dam, but managed about 20# with the in-laws PB bass and a nice cat that let him play for 5 or 10 mins. Successful trip, junk fishing. Every fish on a different bait in different water and structure.

    thanks for the suggestions guys
