    Flo Right Drain Pug

Do y’all put anything on plug to make it go in better? I find I have to push it in all the way so it doesn’t leave a gap.

Put a light coat of Vaseline on it every few weeks.

Flo Rite recommends not using Vaseline because over time it will degrade the o ring. Flo Rite recommends silicone grease which is normally found in the plumbing Dept.

No lubricant works more than one time. I just keep a broom handle in the garage. Lol. It still beats climbing under he boat and banging my head on the power poles.

I'll use the silicone grease. It will go in but not seal. I have to push it the 1/16" to seal. But Sat when I got done fishing when I opened valve it wouldn't come out. Valve was stuck. Had to jiggle it couple times before it would release. It's just dry i guess. Thanks for the replies.
