I know its been stated all along. At the time of that supposed leak, Live was still just an Idea apparently. The same outfit that leaked that is the one that inserted the graphics on the video from ICAST after the video was created. Until we see something different we have to believe what Humminbird says till its actual release to the public. I had questioned that from the video so thought I would mention HB said my concern was unfounded. JMO Bob

Yes it does. One tool may be better for a different situation.

I have played with both AT and LS side by side for the last 4-5 weeks. When it comes to seeing fish the AT has the edge. When it comes to enticing that fish out of cover the LS is hands down a winner. Until you spend way too many hours looking at live sonar you just don't understand. FYI the At doesn't have the artifacts the LS does but it also doesn't have the detail.
I have actually, on my second season with Live Sonar and spend a good bit of time in the field fishing various conditions with it. Live sonars ability to distinguish edges of cover is a great feature, but its not limited to detail again. If your screen is a fuzzy mess brush piles definitely take on more of a blob effect. It may just be the update on my Livescope, but its garbage. When you have to tune your unit to reduce the fuzz to the point you cannot see your lure beyond 40ft detail is absolutely useless. If you tune it to see the lure beyond 40ft you actually have no detail. I can watch fish react to presentations much better when I can clearly see the fish and the bait. Its fantastic blade baiting in the Livescope dead zone, 10/10 love that detail!

I did when it appeared. I have become skeptical in old age I guess. I am waiting for the release before I decide. Bob

Hopefully the delta variant of COVID-19 won't shut the world down again.

looks to me to be an open water tool. Blobs of cover= not helpful for finding fish in cover. Can be very helpful in seeing the fish react to your presentation though, again in open water.
