    Trailer safety chain

    Did mine get missed?
Or do the trailers not come with one?

And crazy to use galvanized right?

    U-bolts all seem stainless...

I do not use one. I do replace the nylon strap every 3 years before they get brittle. The boat stayed on the trailer during an accident last year. I T-boned a distracted driver who ran a red light.

We believe you are talking about the safety connection between the boat and trailer. The hook is there, though the fastener system is not included. A cable system is our preference, though some like a chain. Not all states and countries require it.

I like that. How did you hook it to the trailer?

Interesting. I have never used one, and do not know anyone who does.

Take out the U bolt. Slide it on and reinstall the U bolt.
Works perfect with the winch hook installed.
