    2006 yamaha vmax stalling

    I have a 2006 yamaha vmax 150hp starts and runs fine but after about 3 minutes of high speed operation in cuts out and stops. If i let it sit for awhile it will start and run fine again until i start high speed operation and then after few few minutes it stalls again. Motor has been to a yamaha mechanic twice they cant find anything. Thanks

    Check the gas tank for junk in it. My dads motor did the same thing and that was it.

    Have you changed the lines and bulb with oem equipment? That’s where I’d start. Next I’d check the pick up tube in the tank.

    OX66? If so, probably the fuel pump relay. Common problem and intermittent.
