Just fished there saturday. Took 10 lbs to win amongst 25 boats. It's fishing terrible.

I used to love going to Badin anytime of the year, but with the added pressure and tournament's everyday it has taking a beating last couple of years. Hopefully it will bounce back.

5,300 acre lake that has 150+ tournaments a year. No one l knows how many of these fish die that day, a week later, or a month later due to being in the livewell all day. Not saying it hurts the lake because they all need some fish taken out each year. I think what makes High Rock, Tuckertown, and Badin so difficult sometimes is the amount of bait in them is unreal. I do wish there weren’t any tournaments during the spawn. Fishing seemed much better last spring during lockdown than this year.

Catch and release is the only way to go but society will follow the same path it always has with a lot of things.
