Exclamation NEED HELP: 2008 mercury 225 optima code!

My engine threw this code below. I'm currently practicing and about to begin practice and unsure if it safe. Assuming not. Screenshot_20210721-072131.jpg

It is NOT safe, that is telling you one or both thermostats are not allowing engine to reach minimum of 120° at idle. Ignoring that, and the single beep you should have been getting within 5mins of start, puts your engine at risk for a cold seize event on cylinder #6.

Your engine is a 3L and covered in that forum, please also read the Announcement at top of forum and provide the required information (serial number).

Moving your thread to the 3L Forum.

If you would, please take a moment to review the Announcements at the top of the Forum, and be sure to provide the Required Info (serial number) when posting. Thanks!

I would strongly recommend that you get your thermostats checked NOW, before running the engine (don't exceed 1500 RPM's until addressed).
