If I want to do jigs and Trigs, Perfect Pitch.

Does this make more sense that way?

Football Jigs / Swing Heads = Braillist

    Flipping jigs , T-Rigs , skipping, = Perfect Pitch

If you ever plan on throwing any jig over 1/2 ounce then I would choose the Perfect Pitch. To me, once you get over 1/2 ounce on the Braillist it starts to feel “mushy”. I mainly throw 1/2 and 3/4 ounce jigs and ocassionally a 1 ounce jig and typically offshore. If you mix in any kind of cover or structure like wood or grass then the Perfect Pitch wins hands down.

I tend to agree with Allen....he talks about the Braillist for only some jigs, not heavier flipping use cases. I have it and the Perfect Pitch, both great sticks.

I do like how it feels in general I wasn't sure how I would feel I haven't used a rod without cork in a long time so we will see.

Yup, I tried a couple Orochis a year ago and am up to fourteen MB rods between Orochi and Destroyer.

I picked up 2 Orochi spinning rods this year and both came with a rod sleeve and one also came with a large Megabass sticker.

I’ll chime in with a general comment. I use almost exclusively cork grips. Some of the new grips on rods like Poison Adrena may change my feelings there.

Relative to MB rods, one of my few challenges is the thinner handles versus other brands (I use a lot of Loomis and previously some Daiwa rods). Perhaps it’s just my hand size or what I’m used to, but I find myself wanting to put a Winn grip on the MB rods to thicken them up a bit. Not sure if that defeats the purpose behind cork as my MB rods are all cork grips.

Alright fished a tournament catching almost all my fish on the Levante.

    Rigging - F7-72LV - Curado K XG - 15lb Seguar Invisix - 3/8 oz Tungsten - SK Rage 10" Thumper

    Catching fish from 5-15 FOW

Caught decent fish including a 5.06. It seems to handle fish well, It's light, Yes the handles are thinner but I didn't really notice after a bit. I will use it a few more times before I make any real decisions. I do like the keeper being back in the butt section. The keeps the tungsten from beating off the blank which I like. Overall I am happy with it. Not sure it's going to get me to go out and buy more Megabass rods but If anyone is looking Mark and the others were right It's an awesome trig rod.

Ask me questions if you have any I am still using it and gaining more opinions i just want to run it a bit before I start trying to point out negatives that might just be me getting used to stuff.
