    Ultrex cable routing

I have an 80/45 Ultrex on my Nitro Z19 Pro. The cables are currently routed to the inside. This is an annoyance when the trolling motor is stowed because the cables lay on top of my reels. I have included a picture. Does anyone have their Ultrex set up with the cables routed to the outside? It seems to me they would probably hang outside the gunnel. Not sure how much of an issue that would be. Please share your set up and experience.

    thanks

    Pat

I would route them so they lay behind the pedal when stowed, coming off the stbd side of the pedal. You might need to take up the pedal and rotate it one turn to do this.

I have mine is a "Lazy S" and it seems to work well. It looks like you may have some issue hitting the graphs, (just guessing here) when you go to deploy the TM. You just have to play with it until you find the spot, or turns on the peddle to get it where it will work best for your situation.

Thanks Vmitch, Actually with the cable in the new position it lays around the graphs quite well. Before it did block the forward graph sometimes.
