My wife is going to give me a heart attack....

Wife drove down to TN to her mothers house to help get things situated and prepped for the celebration of life for my FIL. Get a message a little after 2am she is 20 minutes away. Hours later when I wake up I see my MIL online so I say hello and find out wife is not there. Of course thoughts go to worse case scenario after an 11 hour drive at 2am she dozed off and wrecked.

No she just decided to get a couple hours sleep in the Walmart parking lot instead of waking the MIL up at this time of morning. Ugh....

That would have scared me too. Our family has always been big on " Call me when you get there". Had a incident that lead us to it. We all follow that rule now.

We use the “find my friend” feature on our phones when someone close is traveling. Sorry for your loss.

These scary moments are always a good marriage check - you got something still left in the tank for her, hopefully she feels the same way in return!

I like my FordPass app to check up if necessary. Glad she is okay.

Yea that would have made me a little crazy also. A phone call or text letting you know what she was going to do would have been the right thing to do.

Glad she made it ok, but a text would have gone a long way for your peace of mind.

That would've wound me up too. Then after I found out she was ok I'd have jumped her ass for sleeping alone in a Walmart parking lot.

ha ha....we had a good laugh about it when we talked.

not the first time she has slept in her vehicle. one time she was driving home from Toronto, got caught in lake effect snows. It started getting to bad to see so she followed tractor trailers into a rest stop, slept in her car for a couple hours. When she woke up it had slowed some so she started driving again. It is nothing to her, all she said is she had her knife beside her...

She is a strong independent women, good for me. Cannot stand prissy, high maintenance girls.

Good to hear she had some protection. But I would've freaked.

Yeah, I've got a strong, stubborn woman too
