Duck River Marine had a 2020 with like 40 hours on it. Might’ve sold by now though.

That was a Evinrude thing years ago.... ask them how that worked out!
To the original question, motors are extremely hard to find right now. Boat builders take priority over dealer loose engines in most cases, and boat builders cant get near what they need to keep up with current demand. Its a bad time to need to repower.
True statement. I remember a year or two ago Skeet Reese listing a couple new in the crate Merc 250 pro xs 4 strokes at the end of the season.
Yeah, i saw Skeet on another forum and site that had 3 of the Mercs for sale last fall. May have to have my buddy look into that route if he has to wait that long.
Josh, I know they are extremely hard to come by and sell fast if they are available at all, and so does my buddy. Just trying to broaden his search by posting here for a few more potential leads to call.

Although not germaine, new Suzuki's are estimated to be 150 days from date ordered, so I guess everyone is behind. Wonder if Evinrude closing influenced this?
Funny you mention that, he's looking at Zukes now as they have the shortest lead time.
I assume the used ones on the motors for sale section don't intrigue him?

Mercury making them. I am in contact with two local dealers who are waiting as I am in line to get one. As one dealer told me, I’ll have 75 on order, not know when or how many will show up, then all of the sudden a truck backs in and wallah!

Buddy of mine got on a waiting list last week, yes waiting list for new Mercury, Estimated wait time April, Yes April 2022!!
