    MG 109 Tour - Issue

    I have a 2014 motorguide tour 109 (built in transducer - purchased brand new) with an issue I need some help troubleshooting. When I was on the lake the motor had a grinding/binding sound then started shaking when I tried to use it and lastly quit working altogether... What's the issue?

    Sounds like water in the motor or a magnet has come loose. Either way,you’ll need to take it apart to diagnose and repair.

    If it is making noise then it more than like had a piece of magnet break of and started to make the nise. That piece then lodged in-between the segments of the armature and locked it up. Tare it down
