    I don’t know if it’s been mentioned but on a SHO both lips face the same direction some fluid will be pushed out but no water can get in so twice a year has been recommended and has worked for
    me

    Every two years , i never put my boat away for winter stays in boathouse on lift but only 280 hrs in ten years , i fish a lot but 99 percent of time i'm on trolling motor .

    depends - if I am putting lots of long hard runs (2+ hrs a day) , I will change the LU oil a couple times a year, if not then once a year before winter sets in.
