    2004 OX66 VMAX 225 TPS voltage VX225TLRC

I was working some other issues on my motor and thought I would check the adjustment of the TPS voltage while I was at it. Mine was a little low; it was at .41 volts. My manual says to set it at .48-.50 volts with the butterflies closed and at full throttle it should read around 5.25 volts . It also states that the voltage should vary from .48-.60 volts on all EFI and HPDI motors. I set mine at .50 volts with the linkage disconnected at the butterflies. However, at full throttle I only have 4.41 volts. I believe that someone stated in the past that this is normal but I wanted to verify again. Will having less than 5 volts affect WOT ? With the butterflies re-connected and idle set at approx 750 (bounces back and forth between 700 and 800 on digital tach) the TPS voltage reads .71 volts. Thanks in advance for any and all replies.

Do you have 4.75 ~ 5.25 volts on the orange wire?

From what I am seeing this is the specification for the voltage to TPS. What you should see when the throttle is wide open.

    Yam911,

Thanks for the diagram. I believe that the last time I checked the input voltage (red wire) it was right at 5 volts. I did not check it yesterday. I’ll try to do that this week sometime.
