    Stratus extreme charger mounting option

I have a 2000, 21 foot Stratos Extreme. Trying to come up with a place to mount the charger, it does not fit on the metal plate that's protecting the bilge. Thinking about mounting it between the motor mount bolts on the rear of the boat. Any thoughts or opinions?

If it's not pouring when I get home from work, I'll send a pic or two of where mine is mounted.

I recently put a new NOCO 3 bank charger in my stratos on the plate covering the bilge. Took old charger off and NOCO fit there with room to spare. Also still have easy access to bilge area.

Sorry about that, I completely forgot. Cover is on now, but I ce it stops raining, I'll snap a pic.
It looks like the previous owner built a plate out of sheet metal.

Thanks for the pics, I'm really surprised how many people mount it on that plate, there's no way my plate is strong enough to support the charger, my plate covering those hoses just loosens up on its own on normal riding without anything attached to it

There's no room back there at all. I have a Minn Kota DC charger coming Friday and trying to figure out where to mount that, lol

Right now it's mounted in a Craftsman toolbox
