Lake Jocasee
Looking for recommendations for a place near or on Lake Jocasee. Looking to take the family for the weekend. One of the few lakes I have not been on in SC.

They also have a campground in the park. Pretty slim pickens for accommodations in that neck of the woods the State Park does have cabins for rent but they book very quickly.

I ended up staying a the best western in Seneca. Spent Friday and Sunday on Lake Jocasee. Spent Saturday at Lake Keowee. Had a blast at Lake Jocasee. Not so much at Lake Keowee. I have fished in some pretty rough water before but Keowee takes the cake(not included the ocean). Damn 3ft rollers coming at ya in 7 different directions. Geez Louise. It's a beautiful lake but it is full of wake boats.

Usually off of Keowee by noon on Saturdays well except on tournament days. Hartwell is no picnic on the weekend either.
