Have you ever met a person that seems to doubt 'just about everything'? You can say to them the sun will rise out of the East tomorrow, but they will reply ' how do you know the sun is even going to rise at all?' Could situations that happen in our lives, especially close family member, impact us to the point of increasing our doubt level? as one witnesses a loved one sick or dying yet though prayer are given the situation do not change or becomes terminal? I am sure that would leave an impact in discrediting such action as having any fruition, but, we do continue going to our physicians and specialist regardless of the outcome of their medical therapies; yet even though we have limited understanding of GOD's works and healing ways, we fault Him greatly for have failed us without truly knowing if He did fail.
I prayed many days over my father for healing, and by the glory of GOD, yrs were added onto is life earlier in his illness; yet later, I found myself praying for GOD to take him home as frailty of illness finally took hold.
Was I being an hypocrite in these situations? or was did GOD fail me? My father was greatly blessed to have both of his sons there with him in the privacy of his bedroom when he took his very last breath. We can all be so blessed to have such a wonderful and peaceful end to our lives.
