    I have a 1980 and use boaters choice. I pay $686 a year with 300k liability. They’ve been great.

That is what Worldwide wrote me. Haven't had to use it but I like the details. Bob spent 45 minutes on the phone with me one day and I learned a lot about protecting my assets.

There are far too many variables when it comes to insurance rating to gain much valuable information from what others are paying. Different types of coverage, values, insurance scores (credit, loss history, etc), location, discounts, etc. Find a good agent that understands the different types of policies and optional coverages associated with them and trust that person to do the best possible job they can for you. As an independent agent that also happens to have owned several boats and tournament fish, Travelers is my top choice in most cases given the coverages they offer and the claims experience. Progressive also offers some of those similar coverages and can be a good option as well, I just prefer Travelers. May be completely different elsewhere.

Once again, it is hard to gain much insight from what others are paying. In Kansas I am paying under $400/year on my 2080 with high liability limits, agreed value coverage on a pretty well loaded out boat, and some additional coverage for fishing equipment. Also includes the waiver of depreciation endorsement and mechanical breakdown.
