Really depends on age and skill of the kids. Frogs g the grass will get some good ones but you will not get alot of bites. If you are looking for numbers a shakey head or Ned rig under docks or rocky points will work.

Across from Poplar try the back of Lyons creek shallow water with pads all the way in. Fluke type baits will keep you out of the snot grass. Frogs around the pads. Watch the rock pile with marker on it in the back of creek. You can sometimes get a bunch smaller bass in there.

Water clarity has been pretty good concidering the rains lately. Bite was tough for me yesterday. Did catch a few in the 4 hours we were out.
