Odd question I know, but how does everyone tie off their rig to the dock when you do on an older boat like my 1989 374V?

I use my Anchor Rein rope - drop a loop over a post or dock cleat and then zigzag on a boat cleat. Repeat as necessary. Not many docks at ramps here, usually end up beaching it.

For a quick tie-off in protected waters I always tied thru the starboard handrail to the dock cleat. on my 361-V. I did the same when locking thru on the river.

Thanks. Seems sorta like the only good option due to these not having any cleats on the boat itself.
I have an 08 z21 and added a cleat next to the driver seat
On my 89, I added a cleat on both sides to put an extra bumper for docks (just figured out where I might hit the dock and added it in that location) and used the seat posts (front and back) - tie dock line around them and tie off to the dock.

I added a center fold down cleat to each side. I mostly use the rear and center cleats when tying to a dock and hand a bumper from the center cleat also.

my 1987 374V has cleats….if calm water I just tie to rail by drivers seat though
I installed twin power poles so now I just use them if shallow enough
my 90 374V has anchor reins on the front and both sides on the back I use those if need to tie off.
