    Priced a Z21XL. Wow!

So I just priced out a Z21XL. I like birds over lowrance. Just shy of $90K. My gosh. Nitro just lost me if that's the case. That puts it in the same company as a BCB Lynx, 21 PHX, loaded Skeeters, ect. I love my Z8. And I got a lot of bang for the buck with it. Is there a difference pricing on the website vs with a dealer?

I was at my BPS this last weekend and a fairly young guy was pricing a Z19. I know all the guys in the marine center and was actually helping to answer some of his questions about options and electronics. By the time he got everything he wanted the price was around $74,500. My jaw just about hit the floor. I'm not saying the base price of boat is 100% to blame, but when you add in all the options, like a couple of $3K+ solix's, Garmin unit with LS, Hydraulic JP, Talons, Cover, fiberglass trailer, 2nd console, you get the idea.......

I just did your options and came in around 77k after dealer prep and freight. I dunno.

Betting when the pro package pricing come's out you can beat that price.

Now if you want 4 12s, well that's and additional 7k.

Removing the shallow water anchors from the pro pack really diminished its value. I think they should raised price on the pro package if needed and kept some type of anchors and make it for the guy who wants everything but you get decent value buying it all together. If they wanted to keep a lower price point with another package call it the tournament package or weekend warrior package and do that minus anchors and a focus on a budget tournament package. I think Nitro's only focus is on saving you and them as much money as they can in the pro package. I think they got Lowrance to give them a great deal on the fish finders and the trolling motor and have passed a lot on to the consumer while making a little more them self. If Lowrance had shallow water anchors they were getting at a great price then I think they would be in the package.

This got me curious so I priced a Z18 equipped like mine except of course for the Lowrance vs my Ultrex and Garmin Live Scope. I included the 175, 2 Power Poles, passenger console, hot foot, tandem trailer plus a few other things I have and it came to $54,770. Choke! The base price is now $43,780. It seems like the base for mine was $39,500, $41k something with the factory options. I added the PP's, Live Scope and a few other things myself, which I bought at the best prices I could find last winter.

I guess this is the new normal. I'm sure folks will adjust just like we have with past increases on everything else. At some point these prices may seem like a bargain.

I ordered a 2022 Z19 and custom built it because i wanted humminbirds instead of Lowrance.
Custom color, 2 Helix 12's, 80# Ultrex ipilot/link, second console, hotfoot, keel protector, rod organizer, auto bilge, trim lever, upgraded tandem trailer and cover. Price was 58,095 with Nitro prep/freight. That price is before the additional 5% they just added to the base price this past Friday. I spent an additional 477.00 for supplies to link everything together. Will also cost me 2,000.00 to get the premier 7 year warranty. Then ill have the additional charges ( up to 1500.00) for dealer set up. Add sales tax, registration, plates and ill be in it for around 65,000!!!!!
Im sure going to enjoy and cherish said new boat if It ever gets built..

It looks like the best bargain for a 20’ loaded boat now. Glad I got my 2020 bought when I did, looking like a good deal now.

Yeah, I don't think so. When I bought my Z21 last year, the ZXR21 was well north of $95k. My Z21 was $64.

Some price differences would be Skeeter lists Sportsman II not Blades, a Helix 12+ Helix 9 is about same price as 1 Lowrance HDS 12, plus the 21 XL pro has Active Target and the Ghost is more than an Ultrex...it definitely all adds up.

    Good luck.

If you had an equally equipped ZXR21 and Z21 at those price differences you had a dealer jerking your chain. The ZXR Skeeter can be purchased at a very close cost to the Z21 Nitro boat.

They did. The ZXR21 went up $3100, but instead of one pole, you now get Minn Kota Raptors (2) with active anchoring. Graphs are smaller on Skeeter, but, when you add the poles on the Nitro and a few other options the skeeter has, the Nitro price is around $7k more. NAP price on the skeeter is $68K for 2022.

You can get a FX21 Apex for less than that.

Even though the Nitro has gone up, that boat still looks awesome. I wan't to see one in person, take a ride and then decide. Love the looks of a Nitro.
