Does anyone use this for smaller jerk baits like the 110 Jr? I used it this weekend and caught quite a few, but I wonder if the tip is good for this application.

I am not using that rod, but a similar to a degree. I'm using a 6'8 travel rod from megabass, it's a medium light or 3.5 power in their terms; casting. It does really well with the 110 jrs and full 110s. It's similar in power but probably not in action I'd guess.
That rod is actually designated as a small hardbait/jerkbait rod in Japan. I used mine for 110 jrs Trick Darters and pointer 78s - perfect.Originally Posted by Rodster14
