    New Ultra 126sv installation

I have 2 Ultra 126sv, I know they will auto turn on when networked. My question is how do you disable the sonar on the Bow unit (gt54 in force tm) and still use the console unit sonar (gt8 and gt34 mounted on the jackplate). If I quick press the power button I get disable all sonar on the network. Do I need to put the bow unit to sleep while running to a new spot?

    Thanks,

On the bow unit sonar page press
    Menu>Sonar transmit
That will turn off-stop the pinging of transducer on that unit.
Repeat steps to turn back on.

You can but I dont....have sonar plus Livescope and it picks up right away at the new spot. Won't hurt anything.....

I put my bow unit to sleep when i pull the TM out of the water. Tap of the button when the TM goes back in the water and it's back on. simple, quick and easy - and no transducer ping out of the water.

Didnt know you can do this.
do you just tap the power button to put it to sleep?
I use the US2 off my Ultrex for my sonar so I would like to have it sleep when I’m moving spots.

Press and hold the PWR button until the Sleep Mode/Power Down popup appears.
