PP sent me two new spikes to replace my old ones. The old ones got to the point the glass would get in my hands.
As always, PP came thru and sent me two new replacement spikes.
The issue I have is there is a lot of play where they insert into the knuckle. Both bolts are tight as they should be.
The poles themselves are still rock solid with no play or slop in the bushings.
The Spikes basically flop around in the bolts. It doesn't seem like a big deal, but this allows a lot of movement of the bow in the wind due to the play in the knuckle.
Anyone have a way to fix this? I was thinking of electrical tape wrapped once around the spike, but this would a very temporary fix.
