The biggest issue will always be set up issues with new components and the new Sporty has shown to be hell to set up on a bass boat. It can be done though IMO on a 625. It will just take work, time, and money.
How are the 625's / 300R with a sporty setups running? I do remember that combo being sold from I believe Horizon Marineo over a year ago. And I know of one person with a 625 300 Merc ProXS V8 and no power poles running 84-85 ish supposedly.

I haven't heard any numbers with the 300R. The 625/300XS was a 87-88mph boat and low 90s was doable.
