Yes with water over the bow.

There is no drain in the box, just the rim under the lid

Hmm... there is a drain in the front day box that drains to the bow. If yours is missing a drain that’s an error. Also be sure you latch it in rough water as they won’t seal without tension.

    I'll check again.

There is also 2" of water in the low part of the main rod locker

You were in some rough shi….stuff! Rod locker issue maybe the front drain for the foot pedal well plugged and it’s draining though the access hole under the foot pedal. Sometimes during construction foam will get into the tube on the drain. Or the tube on the front cup holder is disconnected. Another possibility is that the access hole cover under the pedal is not installed but that isn’t very likely. Now that I wrote all this, I realize the caracal may differ a little from my cougar SMH. BCB will correct me if I’m wrong

Definitely no drain in the day box itself...or in the centre rod locker.

I get water in my 2015 as well. No drain in my day box. Happened on Saturday again. Had 4 small showers only. I thought I had read it is a latch issue with water coming thru the latch somehow.

Im not sure about that. My latches seem to really hold water like a cup. Maybe they are different on the newer models?

Some of the 2015 models did not have a drain and it was installed on later models.

You are talking in the rim above the box itself though correct? Or down in the box itself?

Inside the box itself. The deck should flat drain to the rear unless the bow is downhill.

I have a 2015 Caracal. I've never noticed if there is a drain in the day box or not. I've not had any water get in there so I've had no need to check it out.

I was just saying that is a place that water can enter.

Run your manual bilge before you move spots. Bilge water shooting to the bow richochets into the rod tubes in the main locker. It sucks. Was much worse in my 2015 then on my 2019.
