Had both ultrex and ghost , i think the Ghost is more heavy duty and would be my pick , until my new PP trolling motor get here .

I just ordered a Garmin. I have Garmin graphs.
if I had to replace my Fortrex, it would be with a MG Tour Pro !
Had an Ultrex on my last boat....flawless for 3 years. Have another one of my current boat. Been flawless as well.
ultrex has been in the shop 5 times this year. Just ordered a ghost.
I said this weekend, the Ghost is best thing I have l ever bought for fishing. Im sure the others are good also, but I only have one. lol One of the biggest things I like is the pedal. My fortrex gave me calf cramps, the ghost pedal angle to me is way better.

Garmin! Remember they are primarily a software company so the integration across products as well as backward compatibility (if you upgrade a unit in the future) is part of the Garmin DNA. I went with Garmin at console, bow, and Force TM. Fully networked all of it. Mark a way spot at the console, drop the TM, and navigate then spot lock over the top. Amazing! I am delighted. The new GT56 Transducer is top of the line for SI and Down. Livescope......it's live video fishing!
I have had both Ultrex and Ghost. Both are good, but my next boat will have a Ghost.

Ultrex for sure, for the simple reason lowrance cs SUX, the only way I would purchase a ghost is if they offered a buy one get one free deal, that way I would still have a trolling motor while I waited 6-8 weeks for lowrance to warranty it when it broke
