    Hydraulic jack plate size for the 205?

    Which size jack plate gives you the best performance for the 205?

    Mine has 6"(how it came)....its ok....but from the guys I have talked to with 8" on these hulls I wish I had an 8". I may add the extensions this winter.

    I'm getting ready to order a 205. Why do you prefer the 8" setback vs the 6" setback?

    have a local machine shop make a 2 inch spacer??
