    Nitro z8 250

Boat came with a 25 tempest plus, probably gets rpms about 5850 (70-72mph) durning the warm months. I'm looking for a better holeshot/rough water prop, and I didn't listen to y'all before a picked up a 23 trophy plus. This is not enough prop. But I have an option to trade it for a 24 high five, would this be a good trade?

    A High5 is going to slow you down. I think a 24P Fury 3 or a 23P Fury 4 would be better.

Thanks but care nothing about the top end, need holeshot and even all plugged up I can blow out the 23 trophy plus, I need this when seas are 1.5 and up running in the troughs is probably a 50 mph max. Looking for control torque reference compared to the 23 trophy.

thanks. Rumor has it the cats meow is 26/27 bravo but don't need the cats meow need rough water benefits, may do a 25 bravo xs

Almost the same boat but I have a Z20/ 250 4S with a 25p Bravo 1 FS. Very happy with overall handling of this prop.

High 5 is a great rough water prop.

Based solely on where your interest are. I think the 25 Bravo XS would be a perfect fit. Will have tremendous hole shot and stay hooked up very well in the rough. May bump the limiter on the top end though. If a 250PXS you will be fine, A 26 will work, though hole will not be as good, a 27 will disappoint you for sure
    Thank You Leon Pugh

i had a 2013 z8 with a 250 pro xs , cant remember the numbers, but the original 27 bravo xs with the 1 inch pvs holes was the best prop on that boat. great holeshot, great handling , not a speed demon but that didnt matter .

i think the 27 bravo 1 Xs 8 pvs hole with trim-extenders wii work perfect close 4 holes solid leave 4 open ran. this on my 2012z8 250 pro.xs with 12 inch hyd jackplate ran 75-76 with bravo 77-78 with 27 tempest trim extenders gave me almost 2 mph faster
