    Sam Rayburn in late fall

A small group of guys from my bass club in Kansas have been making an annual early spring March trip to Rayburn but did not this year due to covid issues and are wondering what time frame in Nov. or early Dec. would be best for a good fall bite? Looking to make a fall this year and turn around and fish it again next spring.

Only bad time to fish Rayburn in the fall/winter in my opinion is when a powerful northern blows in and makes it dangerous to navigate. Otherwise, you could just as easily be in shorts and t-shirt or layered up in full foul weather gear that time of year............fishing is always good.

Lots of factors, but agree Oct on is usually a great time to be fishing Rayburn.
