    Best Short (6’5-6’8) Topwater Rod

Looking for a shorter topwater rod for my 9-year old can use for walking baits and pop r’s. I’ve been having him use my OneTen Special but it’s a bit too long for him to properly work the baits. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I use 6’3” medium Vendetta it works AMAZING In the past 3 seasons I think I’ve only missed 2-3 fish total cause that shorter rod causes a delay in the hookset!

I think the St Croix Mojo Bass Topwater is 6’8” or 6’9 and is a great rod.

The Daiwa Tatula 6'3" Medium or the 6'6" Medium are both really nice rods and a great value. They handle top water, jerk baits, etc. nicely...

Falcon Bucoo 6'6" MH/MF 'Herm' BRC -5-166 is a pretty darn good $100 rod if you can find one.

Yep, 6'8". I have this rod and love it. It's nice and light and I've been using it for small/light t-rigs and jigs too. It is a little tip heavy in terms of balance though, at least it is with my T3 on it.

Rapala Ti-Concept 6'6" rod on the bay...normally $200+ for $59 shipped. Crazy good rod, transportable, and super well made.
