    Pit Barrel Cooker Brisket

Thawed one of my on sale briskets. Point got done 1st so I had to slice it off and put in ice chest wrapped up. 1 hour and 15 minutes later Flat got done. 2nd time in my life I had to do that.

Rested them about an hour and a half and sliced em up. Wife and son loved it. Hadn't cooked one in a year or more.

Crappie fish fry. It don't taste any better.

That looks great. I’ve been looking around but stores are proud of their meat and prices reflect it. I had a bunch of briskets I picked up on a great sale a few years ago and they went fast. Hopefully the price will drop a bit after this weekend. One can dream.

Less than $2 and I’m going to be jamming every inch of my freezer full. Best I could do was $2.50 a couple years ago. I think I had 10 stacked up.

Looks great! The Pit Barrel Cooker is the real deal. I’ve enjoyed having mine. Making a pulled pork today in the PBC in fact.

The flat usually finishes first. I seperate before I smoke them, and cook them seperately. I usually pull the flat 1-2 hours earlier than the point.
