USA Well I went to the Lake.......

Didnt go fishing.... We went down to the lake but didnt go fishing. We got there about 230PM and stayed til little after 5. It was really busy. Big line at the launch ramp. Saw a truck catch on fire... Probably a 2 hour wait when I left (545PM) just to launch or retrieve your boat. It was Callville Bay. They are still down to 1 lane and its "pipe mat" if anyone knows how fun that stuff is. People are not ready when its time to launch. You should have at least 1 person in the boat and 1 in the truck. Most trucks had the guy back down and then the guy and girl switch places once the boat was close to the water. But then the boats not ready???? Glad I was just a spectator. Only saw a few bikinis and cute girls. Kinda expected more since its Vegas. There will be a YouTube coming up this week. Enjoy and be safe.

Pipe mats are recycled steel cooling pipes recycled from an abandoned coal-fired power plant to temporarily extend concrete launch lamps to provide a surface for people to launch boats.

And they can be slippery as all get out.

As far as water. I do not know. It is in God's hands. The way it looks. We are in serious trouble.

AKA waterwall panels? I had no idea, been involved with replacing many of them over the years. Always seen them just go into the metal dumpster.

We were off the lake by 11:00 AM yesterday. 6:30 a water turd and a few boats were on the water, by 9:30 more boats and skiers.

Drove past a ramp around noon. There was a cop at the entrance turning people away. Looked like you had to wait until someone left to get in.
